015 I have a Systemax Venture HU2, model SYX-D945GPM. I do not have any CD disks, but do have an extended FAT32 partition named INHOUSE on the same hard drive. I suspect this is the factory restore image. I can see the partition by choosing 'Start', 'Control Panel', 'Administrative Tools', 'Computer Management', 'Disk Management'. However, I can find no way to get the partition to appear in 'My Computer' as a drive, partition, or named folder. I have read there may be a 'magic' key combination (for example, Dell = +) to access this partition on boot, but can find nothing for Systemax. I have already tried several combinations including +, , , , , , , , etc.I simply want to wipe everything and restore the computer to factory settings as new. All my personal data is backed up. How do I do this? Tap F4 repeatedly to launch the recovery console on SystemMax Machines with the recovery partition still intact. Then you should be able to restore the machine to factory defaults without a CD.

  1. Open Tech-In-A-Box 015012
  2. Click the 'Restore Factory Setup' button. You should see a warning explaining that you are about to destroy all personal files. This process will remove all of your personal files and settings, but it will also remove what was causing the problem with your system. 015012
  3. To continue with the restore of the factory settings, press the OK button.
015012Your computer will now shutdown and restart to begin the restore process. You will now see a message stating that 'System Restore in progress. Please do not interrupt this operation or turn off your computer'. You are now restoring your system. This process can take 30 minutes or more. When the process is complete, the system will reboot.

Sysmex Corporation (シスメックス株式会社, Shisumekkusu Kabushiki-gaisha) is a Japanese company headquartered in Kobe that is engaged in the health care business. Originally called TOA Medical Electronics (a branch of the TOA Corporation), the Sysmex brand was established in 1978, and were mainly involved with haematology analysers.
